I have a pair of Samsung earphones and accidentally dropped it in water about a week ago. They worked fine, but 2 days ago one of them stopped working (it didn't have to little box with volume on it). But today the other one started spazzing out and died. For some reason I can still plug it in my xbox controller and still talk but I can't hear anything. Help?

Probably some water/moisture inside. Sloshed around and eventually caused corrosion and/or a short.

Does not take much moisture to damage electronic components especially if powered on.

Set them some place warm and dry for awhile and shake occasionally.

Take a look at any instructions or warranty that came with the earphones. You may be able to get a replacement or refund if the earphones are supposedly water resistant or water repellent. Better yet if "waterproof".

Odds are that the fine print says something to that effect with the exclusion being "if they actually get wet".

Will concede being cynical but will hope that a thorough drying will help.
