Samsung evo 970( Motherboard :Msi b150 m3 gaming

SO i have a b150 msi m3 motherboard with 1 m2 slot. i just got my 970 evo NvMe M.2 today and i installed it... i can find the M.2 harddrive anywhere .. and the bios is not picking ut up ... i dont know whats wrong any help is greatly appriciated

Only SATA interface supported by the M.2 slot on your board, while the 970 Evo is PCIe.

Try returning it and buying instead a SATA M.2 drive. Or try selling it.

your friend is wrong. for 1 thing there is only 1 m.2 slot.
unless he mean he is using an adapter card
