Samsung evo vs WD black

Hey guys i just built my new gaming rig and i have a samsung pro 256 gb, but i didnt realize how fast i would use it up. so my options for more storage is either a 2tb wd black or a 500 gb samsung evo. which one should i get?

Well multiple stuff I'm gonna need a hardrive sooner or later to put pictures files and etc. but I also need to put games like gta and wolfenstein, on it but will the performance change between a ssd and hdd?

Games will load faster from an ssd but not run any faster. Some games seem to run better because a load happens so much faster that you dont pause for a second like you would with an hdd.

Alright so it doesn't affect over all performance.... Is there a noticeable difference is speed?

Of course there a noticeable difference is speed only question is if you need it or not. Few seconds here and there is not going to make it or brake it but more space may be more important. Until SSD prices fall considerably, HDD is going to have much better price/GB ratio.
For now, a smaller SSD + vastly larger HDD may be way to go. Don't forget hybrid drives either, nice mixture of speed and larger storage.
