Samsung evo windows install fail

Hi! I just bought samsung evo 850 250gb and tried to install windows 7 to that. But for some reason it won't let me do that. "This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk, ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in computer's Bios menu" that pops up.

Hi Wonderchild.

Check your BIOS/UEFI options. Make sure that the SATA mode has been set to AHCI and try again. You could also try to reset, or update the BIOS as well, to see if that fixes things up. Try different SATA ports and cables as well, just to rule that out, although it really seems like it's probably a BIOS setting of some sort.

How can i reset my bios? I dont have windows at the moment here? There is a button in my motherboard? Is that reset button?

Well it's different for most motherboards and BIOS/UEFI versions but this is a pretty generic tutorial which should give you the right idea (if you haven't done it already since, I'm a bit late with the reply): http://www.wikihow.com/Reset-Your-BIOS
