Hello there, first timere here.
I was gifted this Samsung Galaxy S Duos phone because it had a broken screen and the owner didn't want it anymore. Anyways, tried turning it on only to find that the battery was dead (I was able to jump start it, it is now showing 2.8 volts). Meanwhile, i tried turning it on using a Samsung Galaxy Trend Lite's battery, and the phone turned on, only to show the "Samsung Galaxy S Duos" logo and turn off.
After that it never turned on again, and i'm fairly sure i didn't mess the phone up by using another phone's battery because the battery specs and terminal arrangement are the same.
Also tried plugging it into the PC, wich didn't even recognized the phone.
And if it helps, i mentioned the phone's screen was broken, and the hit seems to have happened to the right of the home button.

TL;DR: Phone won't turn on, battery's not the issue.

Please help, as i would really like to get this phone fixed, seeing how it is much more useful to me than the Galaxy Trend Lite.

Thanks in advance.
