Samsung Galaxy S4 will not turn on after taking a fall

Alright, I'm no Android guru as I'm not really that into mobile devices, so bear with me if I say something stupid.

So my little sister dropped her Galaxy S4 the other day. The screen cracked, but otherwise the phone was working fine. However, after a few hours of use, the phone randomly turned off and would not turn back on again. Occasionally holding down the power button will cause the phone to vibrate, and even more rarely the screen will momentarily come back on and display the "Samsung Galaxy S4" splashscreen and then immediately turn right back off.

The phone had recently (as in the week before) had its USB board replaced in order to solve an issue where the phone would not charge. After the replacement, the phone now charges but does not recognize that the phone has been plugged in or that the battery is charging; the battery meter simply fills back up despite not displaying the little charging indicator.

I opened the phone back up to make sure that nothing inside the phone had been knocked out of place, and everything was normal. Upon closing the phone back up the problem resumed.

So, any ideas on how to fix her phone? Currently I've lent her mine as I don't use it too much, but the sooner I can get my phone back the better.

Phone was dropped, it's pretty certain that there is a physical issue here, not a virus. For the cost of someone replacing the screen or any other parts, you can get a working S4 from craigslist or ebay, likely cheaper. There are Galaxy S4 for a bit over $100 out there.
A virus usually. These nasty buggers get into the root sectors, and no antivirus can get them out. Get a clean install of the OS, and everything will be good to go. Happened to me once, did this, and everything became Golden... Bane of running ANDROID 🙁

Damn, didn't read the description properly. Thought the phone was going ok for a few weeks.....
@AnonymousONIagent... If phone started acting up after falling in a couple of hours, means there is a problem in its hardware for sure.
S4 is a old mobile. You can get a new or slightly used one for cheap, as @hang-the-9 said...
Get a new or used one, would be better than replacing screen or getting it fixed :)
