I've had pretty bad experiences with android (it's basically the only system I've used so far). My current phone crashes a lot and the battery consumption is fairly high. I've been thinking of buying an iPhone 7 when it comes out this year. Should I try it? Also, when and where should I purchase my phone? I have a plan with Mobilicity and I want to stick with it. Additionally, I live in Canada.

Contrary to popular belief, iOS isn't immune to problems, and iPhone screens will break if you breathe at them wrong. On top of that Apple's customer support is utter shit and will pretty much charge you several hundred dollars to replace a burned CPU even if you're within warranty because the phone has a micro-scratch or something on it so they can claim physical damage. Samsung on the other hand were happy to fix a phone for free that I had bought used because after checking the serial number they saw it was still in warranty. The Galaxy S7 is a phone I can definitely recommend, although it may take you a while to get used to the curved edge of the S7 Edge.
