[SOLVED] Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 Slow Internet

Recently I noticed when using Galaxy Tab S2 to surf the Internet that is was very slow. I ran a speed test using <<Questionable link removed by moderator>> and it "found" the nearest place to connect to was in Shanghai China even though I'm in Fort Worth TX. It thinks I'm only 3 miles from Shanghai and 7,700 miles from Fort Worth.

I'm connected to my home WiFi provided by AT&T, and all of my other devices and computers find the nearest Fort Worth location to test against when I go to the speedtest site on them.

It's like my Samsung Tablet has a VPN connection to some location in China.

Has anyone seen anything like this?

I miss-typed my original URL, www.speedtest.net is what I used.

From all of my other devices I get great speed, but from my Tab S2 it is super slow and thinks I'm in China.

Sounds like some sort of VPN/proxy service is installed on the tablet. I would recommend a factory reset of the device.
