[SOLVED] Samsung Hard drive external enclosure not working

Good day. I have been using a samsung hard drive external enclosure with a Toshiba hard drive. Just recently, the light on the external enclosure stopped working and the disk stopped spinning. How do I fix this issue?

Most likely fuse on power rail inside enclosure tripped. Now you should check out which one - in enclosure adapter circuit or in drive itself. Eq. check out what is not working - drive, enclosure or both.

You can connect the drive to computer directly. If it works, put it aside. If not, bring it to repair service.

Then you can check enclosure - are it works with different drive. If not - repair it or get a new one.

Okay thank you. The hard drive works with a laptop but the enclosure does not work at all. May I know how to fix the enclosure myself?
