[SOLVED] Samsung HD161HJ hard drive issue

i have a samsung hd161hj hard drive. When i take it in my pc and i turn it on the pc start and freeze in the bios. When i take it like an external hard drive after the pc booted i can hear it spin but windows didn't detect it.

It is a 160GB drive?
At least a decade old.

It may simply be....dead.

Spinning does not automatically mean full functionality.

It's had a long life. It's done.
