I have had nothing but bad experiences with Samsung.

Bought 2 Samsung SSD, both died within 2 years.

Had a Samsung Galaxy phone, it developed the famous Samsung battery bloating problem.

My current SSD is from WD, and my smartphone from OnePlus. No problems.
Funny, I have had several samsung 2½" ssd from samsung and 3 nvme ssds,, no problems whatsoever.
Only problem ias with my 1TB 980 pro. Installed it on my win10 PC as a clone of my 1TB 970 evo + drive. I did the latest firmware update in december, then I upgraded win10 to windows 11 with maintaioning the programs on my pc.
But now samsung magic no longer reads my 980pro as somehow it has switched from nvme driver to sata driver during the upgrade. I need to figure out how to switch the driver bacl to the nvme one

I think I’ll buy Sabrent models that Puget Systems use. We’ve got a bunch of their thread ripper’s. I’ll have a look see what’s in them.
