Samsung Laptop, can it be upgraded?

I'm trying to find a laptop for a friend that has certain specs, and she prefers Samsung. But the big kicker is she wants to upgrade the SSD herself to a 1TB SSD.

I've come across this unit (NP940Z5L-X01US) and everything I'm finding is 50/50.
Some sites say it uses a standard M.2 and can be upgraded, some sites say it can not be upgraded at all.

Hopefully somebody knows something about it that I don't and can help me out!

I looked through the manual and you can't even upgrade the ram, so no you can't upgrade storage. (page 61)

That is quite an expensive laptop. You could get a Razer laptop for less, and they are built with better quality. http://www.razerzone.com/store/razer-blade-stealth
