Question Samsung Laptop won't boot

My Samsung Laptop won't boot into Windows. Says "All boot options are tried. Press <F4> key..... " Have tried to format but to no avail. HDD will only boot if there's a Windows installation disk in the tray and I ignore the "Press any key to boot...." message. Please help.

Sounds like the MBR or BCD was wiped or corrupted. Boot off the install disk and try repairing it. From the messages you say you're getting and the fact that you can boot if you use the install disk, it doesn't sound like a corrupt partition table (which can be the hardest to repair).

Thanks for the reply. I tried repairing boot and BCD using "Visual BCD" -free software. Still not working.

I haven't used that software so I can't guarantee it tried to fix the issue correctly. Manually typing in the correct commands from a Windows Repair command prompt is best.

Another thing you can try is to check in the laptop's BIOS settings to make sure the hard drive is still in the boot order list.
