hi guys

i bought the samasung E1920x syncmaster

it got VGA and DVI connectors , my obnoard HD radeon 4200 got VGA, DVI, HD connectors

i connected the VGA and the DVI cable to the monitor , but connected the monitor to the video card through DVI

anyway whenever i turn on the monitor it show A DIGITAL, analog chosing from sign (in the upper left corner)

the monitor works good

should it happen , or it happen because i connected booth VGAs' and DVI cable to the monitor????

i never used a DVI connector before , my previos monitor was VGA only....

Does that sign stay there the whole time or only when you turn it on? If only when you turn it on, it's fine. Why bother with a VGA cable on the monitor at all if you are not using it, especially if you think it's causing an issue?

I have both cables hooked up to monitors all the time when using them on test benches, never have an issue with on screen errors due to it, but I don't have your exact monitor either.
