Samsung/lg/dell 24 inch monitor can be used as tv without connecting to CPU??...if yes then tell me which is this model available in market.

If you have a cable box that supports HDMI out, I don't see why not. If you're asking about whether or not they can tune to channels, that would be a no unless you get a specific monitor that includes an hdtv tuner. It would probably be cheaper to just buy a small TV though in that case.

You can just get a regular HD 24" TV and use it as a monitor instead of looking for a monitor that can also be used as a TV. Just make sure you get a 1080 model not a 720.
