Hope this helps:

Some things I learned along the way after a week of wanting to take this tv back.

Create account and sign in to Samsung before you download the link. It gets hung up if you aren't signed in. Signing in and then downloading registers your PC so you won't get the download unless you are signed in.

Make sure you allow sharing to your tv in your network advanced settings on your pc

Move what you want shared to "your pc" > the appropriate folders "music" etc. It did find pictures but not music. If you try going into the samsung link folder(s) and moving them there for some reason it won't find the music and videos.....so put them in the PC's main folder for those. Then good luck - the rest depends on your files.

Hi folks, I had the same problem: I fixed it by uninstalling Google Chrome and reinstalling it.
Before doing this, I started IE and opened the Samsung Link site and everything worked okay, so it wasn't the Samsung Link software causing the problem. I then uninstalled Chrome and reinstalled it and it worked straight away.
Hope this helps.

Did it work with the IE while chrome was still installed?

Didn´t help the other guy, but thanks for your suggestion anyway.

Private mode could help some people too, to disable the installed addons temporarily

Hi Helpstar, Chrome was installed when I tried IE. I then uninstalled Chrome and reinstalled it.
Before I did this I also tried La Mitch's solution which was:
-Uninstall Samsung Link
-Use task manager to end processes for AllShare connection between all devices (TVs, PC, etc.)
-Uninstall ALL AllShare files and folders
-Restart computer
-Reinstall Samsung Link
-use link.samsung.com/main/install.do to login and register your computer
This did not fix my problem but it may have contributed to solving it???
