I just built my first computer with the Z490 Aorus Elite and I can't seem to load my Samsung SSD 970 EVO plus onto my bios. I tried to download the latest bios from the gigabyte app center. However the computer I am trying to download it on does not have a gigabyte motherboard. Is there any else I can do? When I try to install windows from a uefi bootable usb it tells me there are no drivers to install from. Any help would be appreciated.

You download BIOS from motherboard support page.
Unzip it.
Copy onto FAT32 formatted USB flash drive (this is important, different file system might not work with q-flash).
Boot into BIOS and use Q-Flash to flash BIOS.

Ah yes - make sure sata controller mode is set to AHCI (and not Intel RST with Optane).
Disable secure boot before installing windows.
