Samsung M3 Portable 1TB HDD stopped working.

Samsung M3 Portable 1TB was working fine 2 weeks old.Just stopped working it does not show up on PC when plugged in via USB.Did Diagnostics test with SeaTools and it does not show up either.When I plug it in USB Port it makes beeping sound for like two seconds then stops.The power light is on but it is not showing up on PC.Can anyone please help to fix this as I have data I wish to retrieve.Regards

You can try to check or replace the USB cable first. Thus, removing the hard drive from the enclosure and plugging it directly to a PC might void your warranty.

Try a USB Y-cable. If this doesn't work, then it may be that the drive has a stiction fault (heads stuck to platters), or a seized spindle motor.

BTW, many Samsung USB drives integrate the USB hardware on the drive's own PCB, so you will not be able to attach it directly to a SATA port (at least not without hacking it).
