my boot drive is a samsung 960 evo 250gb m.2 nvme drive. amazon states it was released on october 6th 2016. i apparently ordered mined on october 27th 2016. i have been using samsung magician for a while and the drive health had always shown blue/purple. and had read good. it seemed a bit slower today when i checked it, it says fair, but the color is like a yellow/orange. it shows 88.2 tb written.

should i be concerned?

some history:
i originally bought it for a alienware 17r4 laptop (biggest piece of <Mod Edit> junk i have ever owned, seriously), but about 2 ish years ago i built my own desktop and transferred it over to this build. i've changed a few components since then but this m.2. has remained. previously hadnt been a huge pc gamer, but have played more in last year or so. started doing more editing for my dash cams too.

you can see my current setup in my signature.

If there's no obvious errors in SMART then it's just extrapolating health form age and TB written and nothing to worry about.
SM can't even do Diagnostic scan on it.

it actually died about 20 minutes after this post. the temperature sensors were red when i looked into the drive health things. had a backup on my sata ssd's. i bought a 980 pro 1tb with heatsink a couple weeks ago but hadnt installed it yet. installed it yesterday. seems to be working fine.
