Hi,
I have a new system with 6 sata 6GB ports.
They are all connected to HDD out of which 3 SSDs and i run the benchmark for all.
One of the disks shows remarkable good result, or perhaps 2 show bad results?
How can this be explained, or what does it mean:

Samsung 860 EVO 500GB 557/360 62500/52978
Samsung 850 EVO 250GB 542/500 66650/56884
Samsung 850 EVO 250GB 4454/3842 125244/65185

I have raid mode for the last one but can that improve performance that much?

That last one has RAPID mode turned on?
That is the cause of those readings. That is mostly reading the speed of your RAM, not the physical drive.

that makes sense.
I can only have one of my drive to use RAPID mode and when i set the 860 it showed very fast transfer rates.
It is worth anything - should i use this mode?

Thank GOD you experts are on here on Tom's Hardware. Long story short, I have a 970 Evo Plus, a 970 Evo and an 860 ssd... and my 860 lately has been benchmarking 200% faster than my 2 m.2 SSDs!!! I could not figure it out until I realize I had turned on RAPID not knowing this was the cause.
