Samsung magician stuck on enabling the RAPID mode on 840 EVO SSD

Hi!

My Samung Magician software kind of froze when enabling RAPID mode on my 120gb 840 EVO.

The wheel is still spinning and the software isn't "not responding". It has been like this for almost an hour at this point. Is it safe to reboot?

Edit: I ended the process in the task manager. And when looking at the RAPID tab in the Magician it looks like this:

Either it stops on its own, or you reboot.

I found that enabling RAPID mode on 840 EVO did not work. It was safe to reboot my system, no harm done.

I suspect that RAPID mode isn't supported by the 840 EVO, stupid to even have the option for me to enable it. Sorry for wasting your time.

Yeah, it is silly that the Magician isn't more upfront about which specific drives it works with.
I know it works with the 850 EVO.

For your 840 EVO, when you click on Go, it should just terminate, and show a message of "I can't do that, Dave".
