Question SAMSUNG Mobile USB Modem on device manager

Any idea what is this? I do not have any modems connected to my computer, I have ethernet with direct cable. Is this related my samsung phone? I sometimes connect to my computer to charge the battery. Device Manager shows this as "Modems" category and its have modem/fax icon. I even found a new driver(?) for it when I click "update driver" on device manager. Should I install it? What it does? It can mess up my phone if I download? There is even some advanced port settings when I double click and even some dial up/control speed port settings etc. EVEN a volume slider for dial up sound.

I'm actually curious now lol, or is this allows me to use my phone as a dial up modem or something? is that even possible? There is some tethering/hotspot settings in my phone but I turned them off long ago.

It is most likely your phone showing up as a modem so that you could tell her your phone to your PC and used to get on the Internet
