I recently got a £150 bonus at work, so I was thinking about getting a new monitor (my 15" LCD is seriously rubbish now!!!). I was looking at this:

What do you guys think? I'm not really sure on the whole widescreen deal, but I can't seem to find any standard aspect 20" monitors in the UK.

Also, is there a noticable difference between VGA and DVI? Reason I'm asking is that the Samsung 940n is a seriously cheap monitor, decent contrast ratio and response time, but has VGA connection only.

Yeah, I know what you mean. But a lot of my friends have the older model (913n), and despite being VGA, that's actually a pretty good monitor. I think I'll probably go with the 20" widescreen model though, as it's faster, better contrast ratio and has DVI support.
