I am using an adaptor PCIe for this device. I have loaded drivers from Samsung and my computer recognizes it under device manager. Also, the Samsung controller is showing installed correctly. The problem is I cannot see it under my computer but I get an error when I try to populate the drive. I have also tried using Samsung Magician and it found it and I have updated the driver, firmware for the device but when I try to benchmark it I get the same error. Volume cannot be found.
Everything checks out per Samsung. No compatibility issues. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Unlikely you'll see any user facing performance difference vs a regular SATA III SSD.

1. What motherboard is this?
2. Please show us a screencap of your Disk Management window?
3. Are you wanting this as the boot drive?

Sorry took so long to answer back. I didnt get a notification that anyone answered my question.
Motherboard is an intel DX58so
Ideally, I would like the drive to be bootable.
What are you wanting to see specifically in the screen cap so I can get right the first time.

That board is 10 years old. Q4 2008

It will NOT boot from that drive.

The best you'll be able to do is as a secondary drive in that adapter you have.

Screencap - Disk Management.
Does the drive appear in there? It may just not be Initialized.
