Question Samsung Odyssey G5 34 inch & RTX 3070

I actually ran almost the exact same combo... Except Ryzen

I now run a 3090 and neo G8, but I pushed good frames on my 34in G5 with a EVGA 3070 xc3 ultra
Pushed acceptable frames for a 165hz monitor.
Don't hesitate

Oh so you have up to 165hz, for your frames, but do you see all of it? What is the max used? Sorry, for the late reply I'm out traveling. I have an i7 5820k intel core 6 processor as well.

Also, the RTX 3070 should fit with my motherboard right?

Define acceptable. It's opinion. For many ppl, anything over 100fps is 'acceptable' especially in light of so many hard hitting games, like cyberpunk 2077, where getting better visuals by raising the eye-candy is worth more than maxing out fps. This is true for many single player games, you'll not find many mods to increase Skyrim or Fallout fps, but thousands of high pixel graphics mods, enbs, body and physics mods etc.

Multi-player is what benefits the most from fps, with the lag introduced and inherent in internet connections. So for multi-player games, having the highest possible fps is often due to sacrificing visual distractions like shadows and lighting. You don't need to see the zit on the bad guys face through the scope, just need him dead before he kills you.

So 'acceptable' means different things to different ppl, for different reasons, regardless of actual fps. For some, it's 165fps or higher, maxed out eye-candy and the necessity for a 4090, for some it's 60fps on an older 1080p
