Hi

I have a samsung S20 FE. I recorded one video, maybe with the highest settings, which means almost 18 GB for 1,5 hour of video.
I can see the video perfectly the video with good colours on the smartphone. But I need to add sound from another equipment. I use wondershare filmora 9 to do it. The problem is: when I import the video with the program, it turns almost white, like it would have been recorded with a lot of light exposition. What can I do so that the colours that I see in the smartphone remain exactly the same in the computer?

Thanks

It would help if you told us the settings you used when you created the video. Did you have HDR turned on? If you're not sure what settings were used you can use a program like Mediainfo to check the video file or any other program or option in filmora that indicates what the video's properties are.

To play back an HDR video you would need a player like VLC; at least that would allow you to view the colors closer to the original. Then you have to decide if you want to retain the HDR for uploading somewhere else or export the video as SDR in filmora's export options.
I need to convert the video to SDR. I can't see it with VLC as well. Do you know any free program to do this?

You could use Handbrake to do this; you could update to a newer phone Samsung S22 that does this; you could update to a newer version of Filmora that does this.

Sorry, I installed it but it does not have any conversion option.

And the video already says SDR... But indeed it is white...

Any solution?

It does not specifically say convert but after you set all of the options for resolution and frame rate and bitrate, then in the Filters menu select Colourspace BT.709 the resulting file should be in SDR format and should be visible on your system.
