Samsung S24D300H or LG 24MP56HQ-P?

I recently had a defective Samsung S24D300H LED monitor, the vendor offered me an LG 24MP56HQ-P IPS monitor in exchange (same price range), because they won't have the S24D300H in stock for a week or two. Should I go for it? I know the IPS panel is better, but I've read many people have had problems with the backlight on black backgrounds. I appreciate any help.

I would vote for the LG over the Samsung, and it is a better monitor. Definitely go for it.
