Samsung S27A850D overclockable?

It has recently been brought to my attention that monitor-overclocking is an actual thing.
I'm wondering, if anyone else here owns this display and has tried oc'ing it yet?

i have a similar monitor S27A950D, but no i have not tried yet. 120 is plenty, and i would not risk damaging something expensive (for me at least)

Yea, definately. Only thing is: if i buy a new gpu and can score more than 60 fps, it would be nice to see the effects of it. So i was thinking about using that EVGA monitor overclocking tool and maybe add 10-15 hz - but only if anyone else here had already tested it and could confirm there'll be no harm.

i think most people would not see 10-15hz difference. if this was say 20 going to 30-35 then maybe. above 60, personally, it should be significant before i notice it. maybe going from 60 to 90 ad above. but everyone is different.

if you want to max out the card, get bf4 or some graphics heavy game. crank up the AA and other settings

I have 2 ASUS and 1 Acer monitors overclocked and none of them could get passed 66Hz lol..notice a difference? Maybe a little less stutter when moving really fast but still stutters.
