Hey everyone,
One thing that attracted me to this monitor was the fact that it's a 120hz monitor with "true" 120hz according to samsung. Now I've seen plenty of (and own one) 120hz hdtvs, and it's very obvious what the difference is. That extra smoothness and clarity is HUGELY noticeable....though on the monitor, I see no difference. At all. I've set the refresh rate to 120hz in both windows settings and Nvidia control panel (I have a GTX 670), and I just don't get that smooth motion look in games or movies or anything. I can't see any difference from a 60hz monitor. I can hook my computer up to my hdtv and see a the difference when playing hd content.
Is the motinor just not capable of that kind of video processing or is there some check box somewhere that I'm missing?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
