Samsung S6 Edge vs HTC One M9

Solution

The Samsung is more powerful as it's first phone on the market with a 14nm CPU (allows it to maintain higher speeds and use less power). It also has about the best screen available.

That said the HTC one M9 is a really nice bit of kit, and personally I *much* prefer HTC's software (they keep everything really simple and clean). So despite the pure hardware prowess of the Samsung I'd get the HTC from a 'living with it' perspective (I really can't stand Sammys 'touchwiz' software overlay).

The Samsung is probably the more future proof, although I'd say both are pretty safe as both have a modern 64 bit processor. I'd avoid...

I would also recommend having a look at the latest Xperia phones from Sony, they make some very nice kit and have the benefit of being water resistant which could save the phone in the event of an accident!
