Question Samsung S7 update problem

I came across a software update yesterday on my phone but got a pop up saying "The server has reached its daily download limit. Try again later or update using your PCs Smart Switch" I tried the latter but the program hangs even though I have the latest update for it. I tried again updating my phone this morning but still get the pop-up. I'm on the Three network and use unlimited wifi at home.
