which android version will it be running ? 4, 5, 6 , 7 it does not matter ? samsung will not upgrade it to a newer version. google designs this operating system but does not support it at all, its up to the manufactures of the phones to upgrade it for the customer. most part of the phones and tablets are running version 4 and 5 of android and will not get upgrade. not even security patches and bug fixes to current version. if android would be a operating system for computers (phones are actually computers?) maintained by google we would be in a bad place. our computers would be stuck at some version of the operating system. and would not get a upgrade. our hardware would only run at some version . the new version would not support old hardware ? people would be ###### if microsoft did this with win 10 ? if it would only work on some computers you can run it on almost any hardware ? it supports many times the hardware found in all the phones and tablets ? resently i plugged in a game usb controlller from 1999 plug and play indeed. just plug in no drivers no install just use.

Many manufacturers have made bundles of drivers up for their motherboards/laptops so when you installed win 10 it may have collected a bundle like that or generic drivers from its vast driver store. The amount of devices that work with windows and need drivers + fact Microsoft requires drivers be signed by them means they have a huge supply of drivers to use to match almost all hardware.

These drivers won't often be the newest so it helps to look on the Toshiba site after its installed and see if anything new that fixes problems. If PC is fine without doing that, why worry.
It will be on Nougat, since S7 is already on 6 and will get Nougat (Android version 7) if it doesn't have it already. My phone company is just slow and hasn't released it yet. Samsung also releasing it for S6 & S5 note

Win 10 will work on PC's where hardware makers supply drivers, not everything. If PC was built for Vista its unlikely to run on win 10 (there are exceptions), windows isn't the thing restricting running it on older PC, the hardware makers are. They only support hardware for so long.

i have a old 10 inch laptop from toshiba. it came with win 7 oem. a lot of the hardware in it is from thoshiba. toshiba supported drivers till win 8 on their homepage.. still i got a free upgrade to win 10 32bit. when i look at the drivers in the laptop they are almost all from microsoft perhaps 90% even the crappy webcam from chinoy works the driver is from microsoft.
when i installed it from iso image i did not have to install any drivers at all ? the missing drivers were collected in the background when i connectected to the internet. if there were any missing. ? i looked at device manager shortly after install . everything works fine. this computer should not work on win 10 ? it out of support by the manufacturer as you say ?
microsoft produces the operation system and supports it.
and the also require drivers to hardware even if they dont have to do it ?
i have a new computer to about 2months old about 65% of drivers in it are from microsoft ? not from the hardware vendors.
