Hello everyone!

I bought a new pc, and I have an weird problem with my HDD. I have an 1151 socket Asus H110M-K motherboard, SATA3 ports on it. My previous motherboard had only SATA2 ports (AM3 motherboard). I assembled my pc yesterday, installed Windows 10 Pro x64, and I faced that my HDD is always go to parking head, turn on, and off and on and off. The condition and health is 100%. I think it's guaranteed that not a hardware problem, because it's work in my previous pc at this week.

I downloaded an app called HDDScan, and turned off on it the APM and the problem is dissapeared. No more turn off and turn off while I use the HDD. But... What's cause this? I didn't have this problem before. In my old pc I used Win10 Pro too. I made a batch file which is automatically executed when Windows starts, and disable the APM. Any other permanent solution for this? In my BIOS I didn't seen any options to this...

Hello D_Know_WD!

Thank you for your message! Yes, my drivers are up to date. This HDD is my secondary drive, my primary drive is an HyperX SSD.
I turned off this power saving option to the HDD, but the problem is remain the same. I think the problem is caused by the Intel RST. I delete it when I was home and I reply back if it's solve the problem. :)

P.S.: Some people have a similar problem, and these are caused by a bug in the Intel RST.
