Samsung SM951 M.2 NVME combatibility with Motherboard ?

Hello guys,

I decided to buy this M.2 cause i heard it's a beast and i try to build a pc with high end specifications, the thing that i want to ask to be sure is if my motherboard is available with this M.2 drive.

Specifications:
M/B: Asus Rog Maximus VII Ranger
CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K @ 4.00GHz
Ram: Teamgroup Vulcan DDR3 @ 2.400MHz
VGA: Saphire Nitro R9 390x 8gb
PSU: Corsair RMi Series 750W

They say that they have m.2 support on the motherboard, and there is an image showing where to connect the M.2 Drive, if you weren't sure where to connect it.

And I hope you enjoy that little drive, but it does get quite hot, as it has no heatsinks or anything.

The drive is Pcie 3.0 and your board only supported PciE 2.0 m2 drives so you may not get full performance but it will probably work yes but will disable one of your pci slots. first of all thank you for your replies, what about bying this http://www.e-shop.gr/asus-hyper-m2-x4-mini-card-pci-e-p-PER.616291 , should i get full performance then ?

You will get better performance with that yes as it will run on 3.0, but it still uses up a pcie slot obviously
