Question Samsung soundbar h750 - no sound but noise from bass

I'm not getting any sound from the soundbar although its turned on but there's muffled noise coming out of the wireless subwoofer. this used to happen before but few tries of turning the soundbar on and off would fix it. this time nothing. I have the soundbar connected to LG tv using hdmi. also same behavior happens when i connect the soundbar to the tv via bluetooth. i did try doing the ID set between subwoofer and soundbar and that was successfull but still no sound out of the soundbar. i also did a soft reset on my tv also. nothing is working. any help is greatly appreciated.

Does your soundbar has AUX (3.5mm) input? WHat happens if you plug your phone there?
Have you tried pairing the soundbar over Bluetooth with your phone?

i tried plugging in my phone using aux.. same behavior. Bluetooth to TV same as well. it feel like the speakers on the soundbar are dead but it still gets power, still responds to remote signals like changing audio type from standard to cinema to sports etc... shows the volume being raised or lowered
