Samsung SSD 850 Pro freezes for few seconds and makes a weird sound

I just finished upgrading and changing most of the components in my PC and everything is working great except one thing. I have the Samsung 850 Pro 128Gb SSD and from time to time it freezes for around 3-4 seconds, in that time it makes a weird sound that goes from low to high pitch, then it "pops" and continues to work as it should. Most of the time it happens on startup before POST or when you want to make a shut down or reset and sometimes when you are opening a new folder or things like that.

I'm assuming that it's the SSD because this started happening before i changed the cpu, mobo, ram, psu on my previous PC, right after buying this drive but i thought the problem will be solved now after the upgrade and also a fresh windows install (went from Win7 to Win10 Pro 64bit). When the freeze happens it pushes the CPU to 100%.
Also i have this problem which i didn't have before with the previous components that in Samsung magician AHCI is not recognizable (AHCI mode is required for best SSD performance) (Unable to detect SATA interface details) but i have AHCI enabled in BIOS where i don't even have an option to switch to IDE.

Build:
Samsung 850 Pro 128Gb SSD
Samsung hd103sj 1T HDD
CPU - i7 6700k Skylake 4.0 Ghz
MoBo - Asus z170-a
GPU - ATI Radeon 5870 HD
RAM - G skill ripjaws 2400MHz - 16Gb
PSU - Corsair mi650W

I can't say i'm 100% sure but everything points out to be the SSD. This started happening just when i got the SSD and i also read about this problem (could not founf the answer thats why im asking you guys for help) that it's freezing and making some noise while doing that.
Defective case fan? From what i can see all the fans are good and none of them is making any noise but i can still try without them. Also i will try without the HDD. Any more thoughts on what could be wrong?

Try removing the power cable from the HDD and then listen for the sound. If it doesn't occur, there's your culprit. You can do the same for most other items, fans, DVD drive. Eliminate items that you can.

It's been a few months but I recall there being a Registry Edit that needed to take place to get things working correctly. Google 'ACHI settings Registry' for answers

Well this is one of those situations where it's almost impossible to tell what is really going on with your PC unless it's directly in front of us. Since it isn't, all we can do is guess and point fingers at what could possibly be going on. I have 3 Samsung Evo drives and a 950 Pro and I haven't heard of this happening to any of them. I would seriously think it would have something to do with the HD than with the SSD. Try unplugging the HD and see what happens.

Will try to run without the HDD and also without the fans tomorrow in the morning and i'll report back if anything changes.
As for Registry editing i did change everything that was needed to "0" (Start was already at 0, ErrorControl was at 3 so i changed it and at StartOverride it was at 3 but changing it to 0 and restarting the PC brings it back to 3...) but in Samsung magician it is still the same "AHCI mode deactivated".

Just read something about AHCI not beeing detected and it's suppose to be a Magicians problem and latest Windows 10 ver. 1607 so i gues thats not to worry about anymore and I'll just have to waiting for Samsung to give out an update.

So i tested everything and you were right. It's the HDD that is making that sound and freezing the whole system down especially on boot. I still don't know why is it like that because other things that include the HDD are working fine and like i said this began to happen when i added the SSD.
What do you recommend? Get a new HDD because this one is faulty or could it be anything else wrong? I don't have anyother HDDs around so i could test with other one.
