Samsung SSD 960 EVO NVMe 250GB running hot

So I have a Lenovo Legion Y520 laptop with a samsung SSD 960 evo boot drive and HDD for general storage. Recently (about 2-3 days ago) my ssd started getting a lot hotter than usual (used to be about 35-42 degrees celsius and is now 49-55 at idle or very low usage). It seems to have no cooling around it. I want to know if the ssd running at these temperatures constantly could be harmful for it and what can I do to reduce temperatures back to what they used to be
