I recently purchased a Samsung 840 pro 256GB and cloned my old hard drive on to it with the software they provided. I had no problems before the install, but now I'm having semi-rare issues. On loading screens in games, sometimes my audio will pause and repeat, kinda like a broken record, resume for a second or two and start again, repeating the process up to 3 times. After the loading screen is completed there's no issues with frame rate, GPU and CPU temperature. Could the SSD be causing this?

Here's the system's specs:

OPERATING SYSTEM:

Windows 2.6.1.7601 (Service Pack 1)

CPU TYPE:
AMD FX(tm)-8150 Eight-Core Processor @4.17 GHz

SYSTEM MEMORY:
8.55 GB

VIDEO CARD MODEL:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 4.24GB

VIDEO CARD DRIVER:
nvd3dum.dll

DESKTOP RESOLUTION:
1920x1080

HARD DISK SIZE:
255.95 GB

HARD DISK FREE SPACE:
50.53 GB (20%)

DOWNLOAD SPEED:
3.5 MB/s (28 mbps)

Solution

Not likely. It's almost certainly either a software bug or a driver bug.
