Samsung SSD dissappears.

I have a 240 GB SSD as a boot drive and just added a 240GB Samsung 850EVO as a drive for my flight sim programs. Every time I try to load a program or data to it it disappears from Explorer and will not reappear until I reboot the PC. If I do not try to load anything to it it shows up fine. It also disappears from disk manager. I checked Samsung Magician for health and updates and all was OK. Drive is brand new and formatted NTFS. Thanks

Possibly a bad sata port or cable. Can you switch them up?

He tried and now he cant boot. He detached the new SSD but still won't boot. Probably messed up the BIOS boot order but I can't fix that for him from here. Thanks for your help
