I would like to ask, is it possible to merge a 2 samsung evo ssd without formatting?
Because I already have 120gb ssd and I would like to buy a bigger one.

Solution

You can by using raid-0.
That assumes that the second ssd is of the same size and you will need to reinstall the os on the new array.
I do not recommend this. There is no performance gain except for synthetic benchmarks .
Reliability is less by adding more parts that can fail.

If your new ssd is larger, You can clone your current ssd to it.
Intel and Samsung offer free clone utilities to do that with their drives.
After, you can repurpose your old ssd as a second fast sata drive.

No, not really.

Within Windows 8, there is 'Storage Spaces'. Which is kind of does what you want.
But just add that new drive. Another drive letter to save stuff to.

Okay I got it, it's just so annoying that my C is getting full because it's the default drive for installing things.

Thanks for giving me answer.

For installing applications, never let it go through the default, for multiple reasons.

Choose Custom or Advanced. This allows you to tell it where to be installed. And also, allows you to deselect whatever crapware and toolbars that applications thinks it wants you to have.

For other things that do not really need to be on the SSD, see these:
