Samsung SSD vs. Intel SSD

I was looking to buy a high preforming SSD, and there are two companies that I want to buy from.
I either want to buy the Samsung 850 Pro SSD or an Intel 730 Series SSD, I'm mainly concerned about the speed and reliability. Right now, I'm definable leaning towards Intel, although 480 GB is an awkward amount (why not 512 GB?).

I think Intel has the same thing (not experienced in this but I think it's called REID-0). I just wanted to go with Intel since it's a company I know and like, but I'm considering changing.

I have not been keeping up with intel drives. I'm sure either would be a good choice. Just telling you of my experience with the samsungs. Fast, trouble free, good software support. Also supports something call rapid mode. Kick's butt. Some sort of caching deal. Not too sure about it but the performance is very solid.
