[SOLVED] Samsung Super Writemaster SpeedPlus DVD±RW can read cd installer?

my old pc has samsung writemaster DVD±RW (old pc)(included to the case)

is this device can read windows installer cd?? or its just simple dvd reader because until now i dont know what is the function of this device

that device can access CD and DVD in either the - or+ formats.
pretty much anything up to a bluray should work in that thing.

The model you provided a link to can indeed read CDs (and DVDs), full list of supported media types:
CD-R, CD-ROM, CD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+R DL, DVD+RW, DVD-RAM, DVD-ROM

May be the installer disc is smeared with fingerprints or badly scratched?

if its working, no problem. CD, DVD, anything but blu-ray.
