Samsung SyncMaster SA300 Resolution Problem

Guys, I have a problem. I buyed this monitor about four months and in the shop they seed that it is compatable on a resolution of 1920X1080, but when I started the computer it did not fit on the monitor(resolution 1920X1080). I lowered to 1680X1020, but I want it to be on a resolution 1920X1020.

Probably needed to adjust the refresh rate after adjusting the resolution to make it fit properly.

Also what model is it exactly? There is dozens of different models under the SA300 brand.

What video card do you have, and how is the monitor connected?

My video card is a AMD Radeon HD 7750 2GB and the monitor is connected over a HDMI cabel.

Then you should be able to go into the Catalyst Control Center, and one of the menus has an option for adding HDTV modes. You can add 1080p60, which means 1920x1080. You'll probably need to adjust overscan/underscan to really get native resolution.
