I just wish they would create more enjoyable games for the Gear.

These apps will become more and more useful as they increase resolution, FOV and frame rate of the hardware.

IMO, the idea of using the phone to view remote desktop sessions on a virtual screen is inspired. You could also use this to run desktop apps in the cloud, from your phone.

Better yet, the geometry is so simple that you could probably even achieve a good framerate on a 4k phone, which would make virtual monitors look pretty good.
