I have a Samsung Touch T7 1TB Portable SSD which supports 10 MB/s transfers. I am only getting 700 MB/s but Samsung say it supports 1050 MB/s
I have tried various cables from rear USB-c and also short Samsung USB-c cable from front, but the front uses motherboard x570 USB 3.2 gen 1 Type E this a USB 3.1 port. Asus support said it did not support USAP that's why I am only getting 700 MB/s
I fitted a PCI-E card which does support USAP and was USB 3.2 gen 2x2 and I also have a USB-c 20 MB/s USB-c cable.
I think the bottleneck is the USB type E which is USB 3.1
Is it possible to connect USB 3.2 gen 2x2 and will it make transfer any faster ? I think the Samsung T7 only supports 10 MB/s or wait for USB 4.0 ?
