I have a Samsung Touch T7 1TB Portable SSD which supports 10 MB/s transfers. I am only getting 700 MB/s but Samsung say it supports 1050 MB/s
I have tried various cables from rear USB-c and also short Samsung USB-c cable from front, but the front uses motherboard x570 USB 3.2 gen 1 Type E this a USB 3.1 port. Asus support said it did not support USAP that's why I am only getting 700 MB/s

I fitted a PCI-E card which does support USAP and was USB 3.2 gen 2x2 and I also have a USB-c 20 MB/s USB-c cable.
I think the bottleneck is the USB type E which is USB 3.1

Is it possible to connect USB 3.2 gen 2x2 and will it make transfer any faster ? I think the Samsung T7 only supports 10 MB/s or wait for USB 4.0 ?

700 MB/s should be 1050 MB/s
been looking at m.2 enclosure 2280 20 MB/s and WD Black SN850 1TB m.2

well I only get 700 MB/s but Samsung claims 1050 MB/s USB gen 2x2 is faster but not sure if it would help or could fit rear USB-c which is 20 Gbps or get m.2 external enclosure which is 20 Gbps or waits for USB 4 I think Samsung only uses 10 Gbps
just want a faster transfer

all windows updates latest chipset driver tried Asus and AMD
latest bios 4021
Asus said onboard USB 3.2 gen 2 did not support usap
they suggested pci-e card but the same result with USB e
they also suggested PCIe card I mentioned with no USB e but rear USB-c 2x2
