Samsung UE46D8000 TV no internet no Netflix no app no idea!

I have a Samsung UE46D8000 TV and it will not connect to the internet nor is there an app for Netflix or an opportunity to add The Netflix app from the store. BBc I player works fine and some other apps but no internet and not even a Netflix app to try?
I have an 8000 curved TV also which works perfectly Internet Netflix you name it all works. Same router same settings etc etc.
I am in the UK have reset everything tried all the tips nothing works.
Any ideas?

Have you at least tried to connect to the internet? It is not part of the smart apps. If you can get that done , then do a software update. Maybe netflix will show up then.

Like I said I have tried to connect to the Internet which it won't do.
My other TV has no issues just this one.
I will call samsung support on Tuesday.

some said changing in Network Settings your DNS server to 8.8.8.8. worked for there Samsung ???

My sister had this problem last week, she called Samsung and they resolved the issue.
