[SOLVED] Samsung ue590 can't get pc to show 4k?

I recently treated myself to a new 4k monitor not thinking (doh!) that perhaps my graphics card won't be able to cope with it.

When I go into change the settings the highest resolution I can get is 1920 x 1080. My graphics card is Intel HD and I've updated the driver and I'm sure the monitor came with an HDMi 2.0 cable.

these are the details from the driver...not sure if I'm maybe doing something wrong or do i need a new card? thanks

well, u may need different GPU then, intel "HD" doesnt supports 4K
Intel® HD Graphics 3000 supports a maximum display resolution of 2560x1600

Thanks sorry is that the maximum it will support? Any reason why I can’t change it about 1920 then?
