Samsung UHD Monitor (UE590 Series) making a high pitched humming sound.

Hello everyone. im not sure how long ive had this problem but recently its been really bugging me. if anyone can help that would be great!

Hello,

Have you tried to play with brightness and contrast? Like try to increase the brightness to the max and listen if the sound become less noticeable, Actually my samsung screen make a humming sound when it's on low brightness.

for some reason i fixed it by plugging a hdmi into the HDMI 2 port.

Ok very well, so guess you can mark this as solved

I fixed mine by turning "Free Sync" off on that monitor. That high pitched noise was driving me insane! Id try to tone it out but it made me hear it even more. So glad I got it to stop.
