Where should I buy them in Canada? Newegg seems to have good deals. I'm just using them for crypto for now and i don't know how much I need to hold a lot of different cryptos on it. But I think I'd like to have a stick for the future if I ever go to college or dont want to sync my laptop.

I was looking at the basic

But this one doesn't cost any more but has micro usb as well as usb. But would I ever need that for anything? Can you tell me a few times I might need micro usb? in the future will there be things that have that?

just for giggles do you know what the odds of two samsung usb sticks failing at the same time are?

microUSB is good for quickly saving things off your phone (if it has a microUSB port) to the USB drive. Quickly is a relative word as many phone don't have great file browsers that make transferring files to external storage very easy.

Personally, I use dropbox with auto sync to transfer a file from my phone to my PC.

You might look at getting something that is more durable, because more than once I sent a USB stick through the wash in college. For storing cryptocurrency keys you definitely want something offline that is encrypted or otherwise password protected in case it gets lost. You also want to make sure that those keys are kept in two places in case one place is lost/stolen/corrupted/hacked you have a chance to recover that currency.
