SAMSUNG wont print

Why does my SAMSUNG 1430 laser printer continually go offline when booting into WIN XP pro and then indicate a failure to print error when I bring it back online in XP?
I cant cause the SAMSUNG to print unless I hard reboot back out of and then into WIndows. The SAMSUNG is on a powered USB hub with my EPSON C82. It is the only printer that continually goes offline.

Maybe, just maybe, you might have to enable "legacy" or "dos" functions for the USB ports in your bios.

I had to do this.
